Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel/LPG forklift engines and mechanical systems.
Perform engine overhauling, dismantling, assembly and testing.
Inspect and repair engine, transmission, differential, hydraulic and braking systems.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as per service schedules.
Identify engine problems such as abnormal noise, overheating, smoke, low power, oil consumption and starting issues.
Check and replace engine components including pistons, rings, liners, bearings, valves, gaskets, seals, belts and filters.
Troubleshoot fuel-system and cooling-system problems.
Perform clutch, gearbox, differential and drivetrain repairs.
Check hydraulic systems, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses and related components.
Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment correctly.




Conduct machine testing after repair and ensure the forklift is protected for operation.
Prepare accurate job cards, inspection reports and repair reports.
Inform the Workshop Supervisor about major repairs, additional parts and estimated repair requirements.
Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S, safety and workshop SOPs.
Ensure tools, equipment and spare parts are properly handled and maintained.
Support field service/breakdown teams whenever required.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
