Responsible for mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and production support in a glass manufacturing facility. Ensures smooth machinery operations, preventive maintenance, and process improvements.
Responsibilities
Maintain & troubleshoot furnaces, compressors, conveyors, and cutting machines.
Support production machinery and optimize performance.
Plan & execute preventive/predictive maintenance.
Drive efficiency through Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
Ensure safety compliance and conduct risk assessments.
Manage vendors, spares, and service contracts.
Maintain logs, reports, and ERP/CMMS entries.
Requirements
B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance (glass/ceramics/manufacturing).
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
