Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Node.js Technical Architect to design and lead scalable, cloud-native applications. The role involves defining architecture, leading engineering teams, driving technical decisions, and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-grade SaaS products.

Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
Design microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration frameworks.
Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical governance.
Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
Pro-active to continuously improve processes, find ways to speed up releases while improving quality.
Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership.
Ensure system performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
Leverage AI both for speeding development, and integrating into products.
Expert in making trade-offs calls,



and ability to decide what is acceptable technical debt.
Monitor systems and team processes.

Required Skills
10+ years in software development with 3+ years in architecture roles.
Robust expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
Solid knowledge of cloud services, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Expertise in API design, system integration, caching opportunities and scalable architecture patterns.
Experience leading engineering teams and large-scale software projects.
Demonstrate ability to create and architecture products from scratch as well as to understand and evolve a large code base and take care of accumulated technical debt.

Preferred Skills
Experience with monorepos.
Knowledge of Secure Agile or Scrum frameworks.
Experience in multi-tenant SaaS platforms and high-volume transaction systems.
Experience with other languages than JS (Java, python, etc.)
Experience with setting up development processes, KPI management
