Patient Care Assistant TutorJob Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Patient Care Assistant Tutor to train and guide students in patient care, basic healthcare support, and caregiving practices. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in patient care and a recognized qualification in healthcare or patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct classroom and practical training for Patient Care Assistant students.
Teach students essential patient care and caregiving procedures.
Provide practical demonstrations on basic patient handling, personal hygiene, mobility support, feeding, vital signs, and daily patient assistance.
Train students in proper patient communication, safety, infection prevention, and basic healthcare practices.
Supervise students during practical sessions and assess their skills and performance.
Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments.
Guide students in developing professional and compassionate patient-care skills.
Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional learning workplace.
Ensure students follow proper healthcare and patient-safety procedures.

Required Qualifications
Minimum Diploma qualification in Patient Care, Nursing, Healthcare, Allied Health, Geriatric Care,



or a related field.
Mandatory hands-on experience in patient care.
Previous experience working in a hospital, clinic, nursing home, home healthcare, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Relevant qualified certification in patient care/healthcare is an advantage.
Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong patient-care experience.

Required Skills
Robust practical knowledge of patient care procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain healthcare procedures clearly and patiently.
Compassionate and professional approach toward patients and students.
Ability to conduct both theoretical and practical training.
Good observation and assessment skills.

Experience Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on patient-care experience is required.

Candidates with additional teaching/training experience will be preferred.

Certification

Minimum qualification: Diploma in a relevant healthcare/patient-care field.

Relevant patient-care or healthcare certifications are an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
