Position: Process Development Chemist – Ethanolamines / Specialty Chemicals

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience: 3–8 years in chemical synthesis/process development

Qualification: M.Sc. Chemistry / B.Tech Chemical Engineering / relevant chemistry or chemical-process qualification

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize chemical synthesis processes for ethanolamines and specialty chemicals.
Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments and support scale-up to production.
Optimize reaction conditions, yield, selectivity and product quality.
Work with reactors, purification and distillation processes.
Investigate process deviations and troubleshoot production batches.
Develop and maintain process parameters, SOPs and batch manufacturing documentation.
Coordinate with Production, QC and R&D; teams.




Support recent product development and process improvement.
Ensure safe handling of chemicals and compliance with applicable EHS requirements.

Preferred Experience:
Ethanolamines / amine chemistry
Organic or industrial chemical synthesis
Batch reactor operations
Distillation and purification
Process scale-up
Specialty chemicals
Process troubleshooting
Analytical techniques and interpretation

Significant: Candidates with solid chemical synthesis/process-development experience in related specialty chemicals will also be considered, even if they do not have direct triethanolamine manufacturing experience.
