The LMV Driver is responsible for driving company vehicles safely and efficiently for various hotel operations such as purchasing supplies, transporting linen to laundry, delivering items, and assisting with guest and staff transportation when required. The role also includes vehicle upkeep and supporting general administrative and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the hotel vehicle for all operational requirements, including:
Purchasing groceries, maintenance items, and other hotel supplies.
Transporting linen to and from laundry facilities.
Picking up and dropping off staff, guests, or vendors as required.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and regularly serviced.
Maintain proper logbooks for mileage, fuel, and trip details.
Follow traffic rules and hotel safety protocols at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading goods, linen, or materials.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Support hotel operations by running errands as instructed by supervisors.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing the hotel.
Ensure timely and productive completion of assigned trips.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid LMV driving license.
Minimum [2–5] years of driving experience (preferably in the hospitality sector).
Positive knowledge of local routes and traffic rules.
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit to handle loading/unloading when required.
Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.
Work Conditions:
Flexible working hours including weekends and holidays.
Uniform and grooming standards as per hotel policy.
May be required to assist in other operational tasks when not driving.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
