Job Purpose

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, fixtures, and manufacturing-related solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Develop detailed mechanical designs, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
Prepare engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Work closely with manufacturing, production, quality, and other engineering teams to ensure design feasibility.
Review designs and incorporate engineering changes based on project requirements.
Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
Identify and resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOMs, revisions, and engineering changes.




Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and company requirements.
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives through design optimization.

Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design.
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Robust hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Valuable knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Understanding of materials, machining, fabrication, and sheet-metal design will be an advantage.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Positive analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred
Experience in electronics manufacturing / EMS / industrial equipment / automation will be an added advantage.
Experience in designing fixtures, jigs, enclosures, brackets, and mechanical assemblies is preferred.
