Job Summary:

To prepare and maintain GST records, coordinating with the project sites when required and closely follow up.

Position Requirements:

Degree in Accountancy, with CA / ICWA qualification Or masters degree in finance with specialization in Taxation.

Minimum 7 to 12 years of proven experience in the field.

Maintain confidentiality of the company data.

Specific Duties:
Responsible to legally minimizing tax liabilities through informed application of GST Tax law and regulations.
Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates, reports and accruals for business and operations.
Manage Indirect tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the VSL India.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all GST returns and declarations.
Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the Group.
Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters.
Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the Group.
Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally.
Review tax risks/provisions from time to time.




Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters related to Tenders / contracts.
Provide technical expertise and advise on Indirect tax issues to Contracts & Procurement department.
Maintenance of GST records and documents at state wise apart from records at Head office.
Coordinating with the Project Managers and client for addressing the GST and Indirect tax issues.
Appearing for GST assessments, Audits and addressing the issues raised by the tax authorities apart from replying to tax authorities for the notices received from time to time.
Preparation of Revenue reconciliations between revenue as per Financials and revenue reported in GST returns.
Lead, direct, evaluate and develop indirect tax staff to ensure the organization’s indirect tax activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations laws and standards.
Adhering to Group Internal control process and procedure.
