Role Description The Medical Coder Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Current Delhi, responsible for overseeing the medical coding team and ensuring accurate, compliant coding practices. This role includes reviewing and validating coded records, monitoring coding quality, and implementing standards that align with regulatory and payer requirements.

The Medical Coder

Manager will manage day-to-day workflow, assign and prioritize coding tasks, and collaborate closely with revenue cycle, AR, and denials teams to reduce rejections and optimize reimbursements. Additional responsibilities include training and mentoring coders,



maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and payer policies, and preparing regular reports on coding performance and productivity. The individual will also work with leadership and IT teams to support process improvements and automation initiatives that enhance coding efficiency.

Qualifications
Demonstrated coding experience and proficiency in Medical Coding across multiple specialties.
Robust foundation in Medical Terminology and Health Information Management principles.
Relevant certification such as RHIT or equivalent credential in health information or coding.
Experience managing or leading a coding team, with proven ability to supervise workflows and quality.
Knowledge of payer rules, compliance standards, and current coding guidelines (ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation review skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical, billing, and IT teams.
Proficiency with coding and billing software, EHR systems, and reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
