QC/QA Manager Food Manufacturing

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager to uphold the highest standards of product quality, food safety, and compliance.

Experience Required
Minimum 3–5 years, ideally in FMCG food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day QC activities across production.
Monitor raw materials, in-process parameters, finished products, and packaging.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, SOP, and food safety requirements.
Track critical process parameters including temperature, pH, chilling, storage, and sanitation.
Oversee microbiological testing and interpret results.
Implement and verify cleaning, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs.
Handle non-conformances, customer complaints, root cause analysis,



and CAPA.
Maintain QC documentation, batch records, inspection reports, testing records, and traceability.
Conduct internal audits and support FSSAI and external audits.
Train and manage the QC team on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
Collaborate with Production, NPD, and Management to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, GHP & HACCP compliance.
Expertise in food microbiology and laboratory testing.
Process and finished-product quality control.
Understanding of fermentation and plant-based protein processing.
Root Cause Analysis & CAPA.
Internal auditing and compliance documentation.
Solid attention to detail and production-floor involvement.

Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Science & Technology / Food Technology.
B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology.
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology.
Relevant food safety certifications such as HACCP, Internal Auditor, or FoSTaC will be an advantage.
