Procurement Manager

Educational Qualification
Graduate in Food Technology – Preferred
Any Graduate / Post-Graduate candidates may also apply.
Candidates with relevant procurement experience and industry knowledge will be preferred.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Procurement / Purchase Department.
Experience in Food Processing, Dry Fruits, FMCG, or related industries will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities as per business requirements.
Identify and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers for sourcing of materials.
Obtain and compare quotations, prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best combination of price, quality, and delivery timelines.
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain proper procurement documentation.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding material requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier network.
Monitor market prices, availability, and procurement trends.
Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, reliability, and timely delivery.




Maintain proper records of procurement, vendor quotations, purchase orders, and supplier communication.
Support the Procurement Manager in cost optimization and strategic sourcing.

Industry Preference

Candidates with experience in the following industries will be preferred:
Food Processing Industry
Dry Fruit / Cashew Industry
FMCG Industry
Agro / Food Commodity Procurement

Required Skills
Good knowledge of procurement and purchase processes.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Valuable understanding of supplier sourcing and price comparison.
Solid communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with Excel and procurement-related documentation.
Valuable analytical and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of food commodities, raw materials, and supplier markets will be an advantage.

Additional Requirements
Immediate Joiners will be highly preferred.
Candidates must be willing to travel for vendor visits, supplier meetings, market visits, and procurement-related requirements.
Candidates with strong vendor networks and market knowledge will have an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,604.56 per month
