OneMetric | Full-time | Gurgaon The role in one line

This is not a "manage the website" role or a CRO role for its own sake — it's a lead-generation role that uses the website as the primary lever. You own the website end to end — from a raw idea for a page to a shipped, converting landing page — against one defined outcome: 35–50 MQLs a month generated organically from the website and the motions around it.

Why this role exists

Most people who "manage the website" either write copy and hand it to a designer, or build pages and wait for someone else to tell them what to put on them.

We need someone who does both halves in one head: knows what a page needs to say because they've done the research and talked to customers, and knows why a page converts or doesn't because they think like a CRO person, not just a writer or a builder. The output is a live, working page — not a doc that someone else has to translate.

What You'll Own

- The website as a whole — structure, page inventory, and how it evolves as the company's positioning evolves.
- Idea → live page. You take a rough brief ("we need a page for X service" or "we're repositioning around Y") and turn it into a wireframe, then real copy, then a shipped page — working with a designer where needed, but driving the thing yourself.
- Conversion performance — what's converting, what isn't, and why. You run the experiments, not just report the numbers.
- Lead capture and funnel logic on-site — forms, CTAs, gating, the path from a visitor landing on a page to becoming a lead in HubSpot.
- The lead number. 35–50 organic leads/month from the website and the motions around it (SEO, AEO, on-site conversion, content) is your number.

The page isn't done when it ships — it's done when it's producing.

What you'll actually do, week to week

- Talk to customers and internal stakeholders (sales, delivery, leadership) to figure out what a page actually needs to say to move a buyer — not guess at it from a template.
- Look at signals — search intent, competitor positioning, what prospects ask sales,

what's converting elsewhere — and turn them into a point of view on what the page should be.
- Write the copy yourself. This isn't a hand-off role — strong, clear, buyer-facing writing is a core skill here, not a nice-to-have.
- Sketch wireframes and work directly with a designer (or design tools yourself) to get from idea to a real, live example fast.
- Build and manage pages in WordPress and HubSpot CMS.
- Use AI tools (Claude and others) and Figma as part of your everyday workflow — for research, drafting, quick mockups, and design iteration.
- Structure pages and content for both traditional SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) — so the site shows up in Google and gets cited by AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews.
- Track what's converting and what's not, and keep iterating rather than treating a page as "done" once it ships.

What we need

- A CRO brain. You should be able to look at a page and say, with reasons, why it will or won't convert — and know how to fix it. This means understanding funnels, lead capture mechanics, and what actually moves a B2B buyer to act.
- Strong writing, in service of strategy.

You can write clean, persuasive copy, but more importantly you know what needs to be said and why, before you write a word.

- A founder/CMO-level eye for B2B design. You don't need to be the designer, but you need the taste to know what good B2B design looks like and the ability to brief and push back on one.
- The ability to simplify. You can take a genuinely complex service or technical concept (a RevOps build, an AI GTM agent) and explain it in language a buyer actually understands.
- A working understanding of AEO and SEO.

You know how to structure and write content so it ranks in search and gets picked up and cited by AI answer engines (ChatGPT,

Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) — this isn't optional anymore for a website role.

- Robust writing skills paired with AI fluency. You write well yourself, and you use AI tools to move fast — generating quick mockups, drafts, and iterations rather than waiting on a full design cycle for every idea.
- Comfort with the tools: WordPress, HubSpot CMS, Figma, and AI tools (Claude and similar) as part of daily work.
- Ownership instinct — you treat the website as yours, not as a queue of tickets from other teams.
- 4–5 years of experience working on websites/landing pages, ideally with direct exposure to conversion work, not just content or design in isolation.

What's in it for you

- Ownership, not a task list. We don't hand you a checklist and check boxes. Direction and context get discussed openly, and then the "how" — the wireframe, the copy, the page — is yours to run with.
- A performance-driven culture.

Speed and conversion results define your trajectory here, not tenure or face-time. Ship fast, see what moves the numbers, and get rewarded for it.

- Access to the top of the market. The pages you build speak to CMOs, VPs of Sales, and founders across the B2B US market — real high-stakes work, not busywork nobody reads.

How we'll know this is working

Within a quarter: organic leads from the website and its motions are trending toward the 35–50/month range, pages you've shipped are outperforming what existed before on conversion, sales and leadership are coming to you first when a new page or repositioning is needed, and the website stops feeling like a static asset and starts feeling like something that's actively working for the business.
