Techwurkz is hiring a Creative Writer for a leading global streaming and entertainment organization. Ideal for an entertainment-obsessed writer with deep knowledge of Indian movies, TV and streaming content, excellent English and strong storytelling skills.
You’ll create entertainment editorial and product merchandising copy that helps audiences discover titles.
Position Details

What You'll Do
✔ Write and edit English-language movie & TV synopses
✔ Create copy for collections, rows, emails, push notifications and UI
✔ Develop culturally relevant merchandising copy
✔ Research titles, stories and cultural context
✔ Ensure content is accurate, inclusive and nuanced
✔ Collaborate with editors and creative teams
✔ Contribute to style guides and editorial workflows
✔ Manage multiple assignments and tight deadlines
What We're Looking For
✔ Excellent English writing, editing and communication skills
✔ Deep knowledge of Indian film, television and entertainment
✔ Solid familiarity with Hindi, Tamil and/or Telugu entertainment
✔ Experience writing movie/TV synopses for OTT, broadcasters or media
✔ Experience with short-form creative/product copy, taglines, UI,
email or push copy
✔ Strong research, fact-checking and information-synthesis skills
✔ Excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail
✔ Familiarity with AP Style and editorial standards
✔ Understanding of India's social and cultural context
✔ Comfortable with changing priorities and feedback
