About the Role

We are looking for a creative, research-oriented, and detail-focused Course Creator / Writer Intern to help build high-quality educational and career-focused courses for CareerMaker.ai.

This role involves researching topics, understanding learner needs, structuring course content, and writing clear, engaging, and practical learning material. You will be responsible for transforming complex concepts and information into structured courses that are easy to understand, relevant, and useful for students and young professionals.

You will research and create content across areas such as career development, employability skills, professional skills, business, communication, workplace readiness, and other education and career-related topics.

Your work will directly contribute to CareerMaker.ai’s learning ecosystem, helping students develop the knowledge and skills required to become more confident and job-ready.

You will work closely with the Product, Learning, and Content teams to develop course structures, learning journeys, lessons, activities, assessments, and supporting resources.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys writing, researching, learning new topics, simplifying complex information,



and creating structured educational content.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and develop content for educational, qualified, and career-focused courses.

- Research topics using credible academic, industry, and professional sources.

- Understand the target learner, their knowledge level, and their learning objectives before developing course content.

- Design course structures, modules, lessons, topics, and learning paths.

- Write explicit, engaging, and easy-to-understand course content.

- Convert complex concepts into easy, practical, and learner-friendly explanations.

- Develop course material such as lesson content, examples, case studies, activities, exercises, and practical scenarios.

- Create career-focused content covering areas such as employability, communication, workplace skills, career development, business, and career readiness.

- Identify appropriate learning objectives and outcomes for individual courses and modules.

- Structure content in a logical progression from foundational concepts to more advanced topics.

- Develop quizzes, knowledge checks, assignments, reflection questions, and other learning activities where required.

- Research real-world examples, industry practices, case studies, and scenarios to make courses practical and relevant.

- Review existing educational and professional courses to understand effective content structures and learning methodologies.





- Compare different approaches to teaching and explaining concepts and identify opportunities to improve course content.

- Ensure content is factually accurate, up-to-date, relevant, and supported by credible sources.

- Edit and proofread course content for grammar, clarity, consistency, flow, and accuracy.

- Maintain consistency in tone, terminology, formatting, and instructional style across courses.

- Organise course content into structured documents, databases, spreadsheets, or content management systems.

- Work with the Product and Learning teams to translate course requirements into structured learning content.

- Incorporate feedback from internal reviews and continuously improve course material.

- Maintain and update existing courses as new information, industry practices, and learning requirements emerge.
