Operate vertical packing machines for food products. Handle packing of wheat flour, rice and tea (chaipatti). Set up and operate the machine according to required pack size and production requirements.
Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth production. Check proper filling, weighing, sealing and packaging of products. Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting. Maintain packing quality and minimize material wastage.
Keep the machine and work area clean and follow safety and hygiene standards. Report machine problems or breakdowns to the concerned supervisor/maintenance team.
Experience in food-product packaging will be an advantage. Basic knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting. Ability to maintain production and quality standards. Responsible, punctual and comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.
