Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and support C/C++ applications running on Linux/Unix environments.
Work with Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL for application support and database-related activities.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
Monitor application/system alerts and proactively resolve potential issues.
Monitor and troubleshoot Control-M batch jobs and workflows, including EOD/BOD processes.
Support database activities including health checks, backup/recovery, patching, upgrades and security/compliance.
Coordinate with application, infrastructure and other peripheral teams for issue resolution and release activities.
Participate in incident and problem management and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
Required Skills:
Robust C/C++ programming
Valuable Linux/Unix experience
Hands-on Oracle / SQL / PL/SQL
Control-M job monitoring and troubleshooting
Production/application support experience
Debugging, log analysis and RCA
Positive communication and stakeholder management skills
