We are an Ayurvedic pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Amritsar, Punjab, looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to develop and expand our sales and distribution network across Punjab.
This is a hands-on field sales and market-development role for a skilled with strong knowledge of the Punjab pharmaceutical/OTC market and experience in developing current territories.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sales and distribution across major markets of Punjab.
Identify, approach and appoint distributors, stockists and channel partners.
Develop new territories and generate primary sales.
Build long-term relationships with distributors and trade partners.
Plan and execute market visits independently across Punjab.
Develop repeat business and ensure timely payment realization/recovery.
Monitor market opportunities, competition, pricing and distributor feedback.
Prepare territory-wise sales plans and growth strategies.
Work directly with management during the market-development phase.
• Recruit, guide and manage field-sales personnel as the business expands.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Pharma / OTC / Ayurvedic field sales.
Strong knowledge of the Punjab pharmaceutical distribution market.
Proven experience in new market development and distributor/stockist appointment.
Existing professional relationships with distributors and stockists across Punjab will be strongly preferred.
Candidate should be capable of independently developing business and planning territories.
Extensive field travel across Punjab is an essential part of this role.
Experience in OTC, Ayurvedic, cough & cold or similar high-volume healthcare products will be preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-management and payment-recovery skills.
• Experience in building or managing a field-sales team will be an advantage.
Nature of Role: Field Sales / Recent Market Development
Experience: 5+ years relevant experience
Compensation: 40,000–50,000 per month + performance incentives linked to payment realization and business performance.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of Punjab market development and play a key role in building and expanding the company's sales organization.
