Chief of Staff – CEO Office
About Brnd.Me
Brnd.Me is a house of consumer brands built across India and global markets. Over the last five years, we have built and scaled a portfolio of brands across categories and geographies, creating the foundations for our next phase of growth.
As we enter this next chapter, our focus is on building enduring brands, expanding distribution, strengthening execution, and using technology and AI to fundamentally improve how we operate.
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO who can help drive this transformation alongside the leadership team.
The Role
This is not a traditional coordination or CEO-office role.
The Chief of Staff will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team on a small number of the company's highest-priority strategic and transformation agendas — helping define the problem, align leaders, build the operating plan and drive it through to outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines the structured thinking of a top-tier consultant or strategist with the bias for action of an operator. They should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution, influencing senior leaders without formal authority, and bringing significant intellectual horsepower to ambiguous problems.
A particularly important part of the mandate will be helping us become an AI-native organization — identifying where AI can materially change productivity, decision-making and business outcomes, and translating those opportunities into adoption at scale.
What You Will Own
1. CEO's strategic priorities
Work on a select set of the company's most important strategic questions and priorities. Structure ambiguous problems, develop fact-based perspectives and translate strategic choices into clear actions.
2. Enterprise transformation
Lead high-impact, cross-functional transformation programs that cut across brands and functions. Establish clear outcomes, milestones and operating mechanisms, and work with leaders to remove roadblocks and drive execution.
The expectation is not simply to track initiatives, but to make them happen.
3. Senior leadership effectiveness
Work closely with business and functional leaders to drive alignment on priorities, sharpen decision-making and ensure follow-through on critical commitments.
Build credibility as a thought partner who can challenge constructively, influence without authority and help leaders solve difficult problems.
4. AI transformation
Help shape and accelerate our journey towards becoming an AI-native company.
Identify high-value opportunities for AI across functions and businesses; rapidly prototype new ways of working; partner with teams to implement them; and build mechanisms that drive adoption rather than isolated experimentation.
We are looking for someone who personally uses AI deeply, understands what current tools can do, and naturally thinks about how work can be redesigned using AI.
5. Special situations
Take ownership of high-priority problems or opportunities that do not neatly sit within one function — from evaluating new strategic opportunities to fixing an underperforming process or standing up a new capability.
What We Are Looking For
We expect the successful candidate to have 2-4 years of experience, with a strong foundation in strategy and meaningful operating exposure.
Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, strategy role or similarly rigorous problem-solving environment would be highly valued, combined with subsequent experience owning outcomes in an operating business, startup or transformation role.
More importantly, we are looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Exceptional problem solving:
Can bring structure to ambiguity, get to the heart of a problem quickly and develop sharp, data-backed perspectives.
- Operator mindset: Has personally driven initiatives from idea to execution and is comfortable getting into the details when required.
- Transformation experience: Has driven meaningful change across teams or functions, rather than only recommending what should change.
- Executive presence: Can work with founders, CXOs and senior leaders as a credible thought partner and challenge perspectives constructively.
- Influence without authority: Can mobilize people and drive outcomes without relying on hierarchy.
- AI-native thinking: Uses AI extensively in their own work and has a strong point of view on how AI can transform organizations and operating models.
- High ownership: Sees an important problem and naturally takes responsibility for solving it.
- Solid communication: Can distill complexity into a clear narrative, whether in a leadership discussion, a one-page memo or a board conversation.
- Low ego, high intensity: Comfortable moving seamlessly between strategic questions and hands-on execution.
The Career Path
We see the Chief of Staff role as a pathway into business or functional leadership within Brnd.Me, rather than a long-term staff role.
The breadth and intensity of the role provide an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our businesses, work closely with leaders across the organization, and demonstrate the ability to own and drive significant outcomes.
For a high-performing individual, the intent is that within 6–12 months, they can emerge as a potential succession candidate for a business leadership or functional leadership role, based on organizational opportunities and individual strengths.
We are therefore looking for someone who ultimately wants to build and lead a business or function, not remain in a strategy or advisory role.
