Senior Manager – Logistics (steel and Metal domain)

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management.

· Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across domestic and international supply chains.

· Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

· Coordinate with vendors, transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse partners to ensure smooth operations.

· Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare periodic MIS reports for management review.

· Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

· Lead and mentor the logistics team, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Resolve operational issues related to deliveries, transportation, inventory discrepancies, and customer escalations.

· Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless business operations.

· Identify prospects for process automation and digital transformation within logistics functions.
