Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Career Counselor role based in Bhopal.

The Career

Counselor will guide students (primarily grade 8 and above) in exploring academic and career options, assessing strengths and interests, and developing individualized education and career plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, administering and interpreting career assessments, and providing information on relevant courses, entrance exams, and professional pathways. The role involves collaborating with teachers and academic teams,



maintaining counseling records, organizing workshops and seminars for students and families, and contributing to outreach initiatives that promote Toprankers’ career counseling services.

The Career

Counselor will also support students’ ongoing career development, monitor progress, and provide timely follow-up and guidance.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to support learners in making informed academic and career decisions.
- Ability to guide long-term Career Development and Career Management, including planning education and professional pathways.
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation of complex information, and positive engagement with students and families.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience in educational counseling, guidance counseling, or career advisory roles, preferably in an ed-tech or coaching environment.
- Comfort with using digital tools, online platforms, and data to track student progress and deliver counseling services.
- Empathetic, student-centric approach, with the ability to work with diverse backgrounds and age groups.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple counseling cases, workshops, and events simultaneously.
