About The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Presales with strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in an IT services/service-based company. The ideal candidate should have experience working on IT presales activities, understanding client requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating with Solution Architects, and Delivery teams to develop the right solution for clients.

The candidate should be comfortable interacting directly with clients, understanding their business challenges, translating requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Conduct and lead client discovery calls, requirement-gathering sessions, and workshops.
- Analyze client requirements and translate them into clear and feasible technical solutions.
- Work closely with teams to understand opportunities and develop effective presales strategies.
- Prepare high-quality technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, BRDs, SOWs, scope documents, presentations, and solution documents.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and Delivery teams to validate solution approaches, scope, timelines, and technical feasibility.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, solution walkthroughs, and demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Clearly communicate the company's technical capabilities, services, and technology offerings to clients.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies,



and assumptions within client requirements and proposed solutions.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with client expectations, business requirements, budget, and timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of requirements, discussions, scope, and proposed solutions.
- Stay updated with current software development technologies, IT solutions, frameworks, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Presales Consultant, or Technical Presales professional.
- Must have experience working in a Pre-Sales IT services/service-based company.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, SDLC, web/mobile applications, APIs, databases, cloud, and modern IT technologies.
- Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in IT Presales and client requirement gathering.
- Experience preparing RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, BRDs, SOWs, presentations, and solution documents.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical requirements and solution approaches.
- Experience working with Solution Architects, Developers, and Delivery teams.
- Strong client-facing, communication, presentation, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirement-management skills.
