We're Hiring: Background Verification Consultant/Agency – Andheri, Mumbai

We are looking to onboard an experienced Background Verification (BGV) Consultant/Agency to manage our employee background verification and onboarding process at our Andheri, Mumbai location.

Scope of Work:

- Conduct end-to-end employee background verification (identity, address, education, employment history, criminal record checks)
- Coordinate with previous employers, educational institutions, and reference contacts for verification
- Manage the onboarding documentation process for current hires
- Ensure timely turnaround of verification reports
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with data protection norms
- Provide regular status updates and a final verification report to HR

Requirements:

- Proven experience in employee background verification/BGV services
- Established network/process for education, employment, and criminal record checks
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work within defined turnaround times (TATs)
- Prior experience working with corporates/agencies on similar engagements preferred
