JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education
Diploma / B.Sc. in Neuro Technology, Neuro Electrophysiology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Experience
3–6 years of relevant experience in a hospital.
Experience in EEG, EMG/NCS and other neurodiagnostic procedures.
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior technician role will be an added advantage.
Experience in an NABH-accredited hospital preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Perform and supervise EEG, sleep EEG, EMG/NCS and other assigned neurodiagnostic procedures.
Ensure proper patient preparation, electrode placement and quality of recordings.
Operate, maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of neurodiagnostic equipment.
Monitor patients during procedures and immediately report clinical or technical concerns.




Guide junior Neuro Technicians and ensure adherence to departmental procedures.
Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection and protected handling of equipment.
Maintain accurate investigation records, reports, procedure logs and departmental registers.
Coordinate with neurologists, nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient care.
Ensure compliance with NABH, infection control, patient safety and biomedical waste management requirements.
Participate in departmental training, audits and quality improvement activities.
