Role Description The Audit Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hoshangabad.

The Audit

Assistant will support audit engagements by assisting in planning, executing, and documenting financial and compliance audits for various clients, including banks, PSUs, and businesses across sectors. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial records, verifying supporting documents, preparing working papers, and contributing to the drafting of audit observations and reports. The role also involves supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements, helping identify control gaps and process improvements,



and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The Audit

Assistant will collaborate closely with senior team members, maintain organized audit documentation, and uphold professional and ethical standards in all client interactions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong finance knowledge and the ability to interpret and apply financial concepts effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements and understanding accounting principles.
- Candidates should possess experience or aptitude in conducting financial audits and supporting audit procedures.
- Candidates should possess the ability to assist in drafting clear and accurate audit reports.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to assess data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
- Relevant academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
