Senior Manager/Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services

Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Work you'll do

As an SM/AVP on the technology managed services team, you will be responsible for leading application managed services delivery, complex technology programs, and cross-functional teams across geographies.

- Lead application managed services delivery for applications, infrastructure, and associated technology programs.

- Manage geographically dispersed teams, including internal consultants, near-shore and off-shore technologists, and third-party vendors.

- Oversee planning, budgeting, delivery governance, and risk management to support quality, timeliness, and financial performance.

- Support pursuits and proposal activities, including solution development, estimation, pricing input, and transition planning.

- Coach team members,



guide staffing decisions, and provide leadership to local and cross-location delivery teams.

The team

This role is part of a technology managed services organization that supports complex application and platform environments for clients. The team works across delivery, operations, and transformation initiatives to help drive service quality, stability, and business outcomes.

Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai

Qualifications

Required

- 12 years of experience in application support, including production support services, development, and customization.

- 10 years of experience leading geographically dispersed technology teams across legacy, distributed, and database environments.

- 3 years of experience selling application managed services to existing or prospective clients.

- 10 years of experience leading large-scale global technology teams in a delivery lead capacity.

- Experience across the request for proposal (RFP) lifecycle, including estimation, pricing, solution development, oral presentations, and transition planning.

- Hands-on development experience in at least one of the following: Java, .NET, or mainframe.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a similar technical field.

Preferred

- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, engineering, or a similar technical field.

- Experience applying artificial intelligence (AI) practices to improve efficiency and reduce redundancy.

- Experience working in a multi-vendor environment that includes third-party providers.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.

- Cloud certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud.
