AI Intern - Productivity & Automation

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Intern who is curious about AI and interested in finding practical ways to use it at work.

Your role will be to work with different teams, understand where people are spending time on repetitive or non-creative tasks, and explore how AI can simplify, automate or improve those workflows.

This is a hands-on learning role. You will be encouraged to experiment, test new tools, build simple solutions, and take ownership of problems you identify.

The goal is simple: help the team spend less time on repetitive work and more time on creative and strategic work.

What You'll Do

- Meet different teams and understand their day-to-day workflows and challenges.
- Identify repetitive, manual and time-consuming tasks that can potentially be improved using AI.
- Experiment with AI tools and find practical solutions for these problems.
- Build simple AI-assisted workflows, templates, prompts or automations.
- Test solutions with team members and improve them based on feedback.
- Help employees adopt helpful AI tools in their everyday work.
- Document successful workflows so others can easily use them.
- Continuously explore new AI tools and identify practical applications for the organisation.
- Take up problems independently and find ways to solve them rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

- Comfortable talking to different teams and understanding how they work.
- Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Takes initiative and is willing to pick up tasks independently.
- Comfortable with trial and error — not every experiment will work.
- Good communication skills and ability to explain a solution simply.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

AI Knowledge

You do not need to know every AI tool.

Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or other AI tools is useful, but curiosity and adaptability matter more.

We are looking for someone who understands that AI is continuously evolving and is willing to learn new tools and figure out how they can be applied to real work.

Preferred

- Experience experimenting with AI tools or AI-based projects.
- Basic understanding of automation / no-code tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Notion, Figma, Canva, Zapier, Make or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Interest in creative work, social media, technology or digital workflows is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

You identify a task that takes a team member 2 hours every week, find a way to reduce it to 20 minutes, help the team adopt it, document the process, and then move on to the next problem.

Your job is not just to learn AI. Your job is to find where AI can make the team better.

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Compensation

₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month, depending on skills and fit.
