Role Description The Agriculture Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hajipur. This role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring agriculture-related projects that support the company’s broader infrastructure and rural development initiatives.
The Agriculture
Officer will assess local agricultural conditions, collect and analyze data, and recommend strategies to improve productivity, sustainability, and resource management. Daily tasks include coordinating with local stakeholders, providing technical guidance to project teams and farmers, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant agricultural regulations and standards.
The role also requires close collaboration with internal departments to align agricultural activities with company objectives and community development goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Agriculture and Agribusiness to support practical field operations and agricultural project management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development to analyze economic viability and support community-focused initiatives.
- Candidates should possess strong Research skills to collect, interpret, and present agriculture-related data for informed decision-making.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Experience working with agricultural projects, rural communities, or development programs, ideally within infrastructure or construction-related contexts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including local authorities, farmers, technical teams, and management.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site.
- Familiarity with sustainable agriculture practices, environmental regulations, and basic project reporting and documentation.
