Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site AI Artist role based in Mumbai.

We’re looking for someone who has a strong visual sensibility and a genuine understanding of cinema, storytelling and image-making. You should be comfortable experimenting with emerging AI tools and technologies to create compelling visual content — while knowing that the technology is only as good as the creative thinking behind it.

The role will involve developing visual concepts, creating AI-generated imagery and video, experimenting with different generative workflows, and translating creative briefs into distinctive visual outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

- A strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, lighting, colour and cinematic aesthetics.
- A genuine interest in cinema, photography, animation, VFX or other visual mediums.
- Hands-on experience with AI image and/or video generation tools.
- The ability to experiment, iterate and find creative solutions rather than simply follow prompts.
- A good eye for detail and consistency across characters, environments, shots and sequences.
- The ability to understand a creative brief and translate an idea into a visual language.
- Curiosity to constantly explore new AI tools, techniques and workflows.
- A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, visual thinking and experimentation.

Formal qualifications are less important to us than what you can create.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency with AI-based image and video generation tools, along with digital illustration, graphic design, compositing, or other relevant visual tools.
- A robust understanding of cinema, visual storytelling, composition, lighting, colour, framing, and cinematic aesthetics.
- Ability to translate creative briefs, scripts, concepts, and references into compelling and visually coherent imagery.
- Experience creating or experimenting with AI-generated visuals for films, commercials, music videos, digital content, concept development, or other visual storytelling formats.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to maintain visual consistency across characters, environments, costumes, props, and sequences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with directors, producers, writers, cinematographers, VFX artists, and other members of a creative team.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with emerging AI tools, techniques, and workflows, while understanding that technology is a means to serve the creative idea.
- Ability to iterate, problem-solve, and explore multiple visual approaches to arrive at the right creative outcome.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual sensibility, creativity, and hands-on experimentation with AI or other visual mediums.
- Formal education in film, animation, visual communication, fine arts, design, or a related field is preferred, but solid creative work and practical experience will be valued equally.
- Prior experience in film production, advertising, VFX, animation, photography, or other visual media is an advantage.
