Vendor Development Executive

Position: Vendor Development Executive

Location: Motavada, Rajkot

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop current vendors for solar project requirements.
Search, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
Coordinate with vendors for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, electrical components, BOS materials, and other project requirements.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
Maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Project, Design, and Accounts teams for material requirements.
Ensure timely availability and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
Monitor vendor performance, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.




Maintain vendor database, quotations, purchase records, and documentation.
Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, quantity, delivery, and payment.
Conduct market research to identify competitive pricing and alternative suppliers.
Support cost reduction and procurement improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
Valuable negotiation and communication skills.
Vendor sourcing and relationship management.
Knowledge of procurement and purchase processes.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Robust follow-up and coordination skills.
Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work with multiple vendors and manage deadlines.
