IMPORTANT: HOTEL ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY

Lake View Hotel, a unit of Stay Blessed, is seeking an experienced Hotel Accountant only to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting for the property. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel accounting and a strong understanding of OTA reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

- Perform daily revenue verification and reconciliation
- Conduct OTA reconciliation (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, etc.)
- Verify Front Office and Night Audit reports
- Prepare and file GST returns
- Calculate, deduct, and file TDS
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
- Verify vendor invoices and process payments
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash
- Close monthly accounts and prepare MIS reports




- Follow up on corporate receivables and outstanding payments
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with statutory and taxation requirements
- Prepare and submit financial reports to management
- Verify departmental expenses and inventory-related transactions
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records

Requirements

- Previous experience in hotel accounting operations (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred
