(JD) – Accountant (Head Office) – SAP Experience

Position Details

Job Title: Accountant – Head Office (HO)

Department: Finance & Accounts

Location: Head Office

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head – Finance & Accounts

Experience: 4-8 Years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred

ERP Knowledge: Mandatory experience in SAP (FI/CO Module preferred)

Job Purpose To manage and monitor accounting operations at the Head Office, ensure accurate financial transactions, maintain statutory compliance, support financial reporting, and effectively utilize SAP for accounting and financial control processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record and verify financial transactions in SAP.
- Manage General Ledger (GL), journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts on a periodic basis.
- Monitor fixed assets accounting and depreciation schedules.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Verify purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier ledgers.
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up for outstanding collections.
- Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.

Bank & Cash Management

- Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and fund requirements.
- Verify and account for bank transactions, charges, and interest.

Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly,



quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Generate SAP-based MIS reports for management review.

Taxation & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file GST returns and TDS returns.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.

SAP Operations

- Manage accounting transactions in SAP FI module.
- Ensure correct master data maintenance (Vendor, Customer, GL).
- Generate financial reports and MIS through SAP.
- Support SAP process improvements and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with IT and SAP consultants for system enhancements.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management practices.

Educational Qualification

B.Com (Mandatory)

M.Com preferred

4-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP experience.

Experience in Manufacturing, Paints, FMCG, Chemicals, or Building Materials industry preferred.

Pay: ₹320,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
