Role & responsibilities
Identify and develop relationships with USA Big Box Retailers and their India sourcing offices.
Build and maintain solid relationships with Buying, Sourcing, Merchandising and Procurement teams.
Develop current business opportunities and generate enquiries/orders for carpets and rugs.
Understand customer requirements, product specifications, pricing and market trends.
Coordinate with Design, Sampling, Production, Quality and Export teams to fulfil customer requirements.
Handle product presentations, sampling, quotations and commercial negotiations.
Regularly follow up with key accounts and ensure smooth business coordination.
Maintain a strong understanding of the USA carpet & rug retail market and customer preferences.
Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
Represent the company professionally in meetings,



buyer visits, exhibitions and business events.

Preferred candidate profile
5+ years of experience in B2B Business Development / Key Account Management / Sales.
Experience in Carpet, Rugs, Home Furnishing, Textiles or Export Industry will be preferred.
Strong exposure to USA buyers, retailers, sourcing houses or buying offices will be an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
Robust business development and networking abilities.
Ability to independently develop and manage high-value accounts.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development when required.
