Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Boiler Operator to ensure secure and effective boiler operations, continuous monitoring, and compliance with all safety standards in the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Boiler Operation & Monitoring
Operate and monitor boiler systems as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Maintain proper steam pressure, temperature, and water level
Ensure smooth and continuous boiler performance during shifts
Check and control boiler parameters regularly
Maintenance & Log Management
Maintain accurate daily boiler operation logs and records
Record readings of pressure, temperature, fuel usage, and water levels
Report any abnormal condition or deviation immediately
Assist in routine inspection and minor maintenance activities
Safety Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to boiler safety rules and regulations
Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment
Conduct regular safety checks before and during operations
Report any safety hazards or equipment faults immediately
Ensure secure handling of fuel, steam, and pressure systems
Coordination
Coordinate with maintenance team for repairs and servicing
Support production team by ensuring uninterrupted steam supply
Communicate operational issues to supervisors in real time
