Manage catalogues & schemas: Create, alter, and delete catalogues and schemas; set ownership and default properties across the meta store.n
Access control & governance: Define and manage permissions (GRANT/REVOKE) on catalogues, schemas, tables, views, volumes, and functions.n
Data security enforcement: Implement fine‐grained security using privileges, row filters, column masking, and tag‐based (ABAC) policies.n
Metadata & data governance:
Oversee table definitions, lineage, tags, classifications, and ensure compliance with governance standards.n
Administrative operations: Troubleshoot access issues, manage object ownership transfers, and support platform standards and best practices.n
Cross‐setting data copy: Move data securely from Prod to Non‐Prod using approved, automated pipelines.n
Data masking: Mask or anonymize sensitive fields (PII/PHI/PCI) during or before data copy.n
Deployments: Carryout deployments using CI/CD across various environments.n
Data upload: Upload data to DataBricks as well as migrate data from other Databases to it.n
