Key Responsibilities:
Working with the on-shore team to maintain an excellent relationship with key stakeholders in business unit finance teams and other head office functions, to coordinate aspects Tax reporting
Preparation of VAT returns
Preparation and Review of European Indirect Tax returns
Review of Indirect Tax returns prepared by external consultants for International locations
Support special projects on VAT claims/reclaims/process enhancements
Build controls and perform reconciliations of nominal accounts to ensure the expenses match with numbers reported in the system.
Preparation of journals for various business areas
To consistently identify and implement current ways to improve the quality of work and also improve the means of working on the tax returns.
