Position: Hardware & Networking Engineer
Department: IT / Information Technology
Location: Kolkata
Experience: 4 – 8 years
CTC: 5- 10lpa (depends for relevant experience and suitability of the candidature)
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT hardware .
Provide hardware and software troubleshooting and technical support to employees.
Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls and network infrastructure .
Monitor network connectivity and resolve issues related to Internet, LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN and server connectivity .
Configure and maintain IP addressing, DHCP, DNS and basic network services .
Maintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, MS Office and other business applications .
Manage user accounts, access rights and permissions as per company requirements.
Support CCTV, biometric/access-control systems,



attendance systems and other IT-enabled devices , where required.
Coordinate with Internet Service Providers, hardware vendors and AMC/service providers for technical issues.
Maintain proper records of IT assets, hardware inventory, software licenses and network equipment .
Perform regular backup, system updates, antivirus/security checks and preventive maintenance .
Assist in installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure at office and plant locations .
Ensure minimum downtime by responding promptly to IT/network-related incidents .
Maintain documentation of network architecture, IP allocation, hardware and troubleshooting activities .
Support implementation of IT security policies and basic cybersecurity practices .
Coordinate with the central IT team for system upgrades, network expansion and current installations .
