Lab Engineer / Gas Chromatography (GC) Technician

Location: Ghaziabad
Experience: 4–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a relevant field

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lab Engineer / Gas Chromatography (GC) Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory GC instruments. The candidate should have hands-on experience working with GC systems in a laboratory or testing workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and perform routine analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC) instruments
Prepare samples, standards, and reagents for GC analysis
Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Monitor instrument performance and ensure accurate and reliable test results
Identify and resolve basic technical issues related to GC equipment
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and instrument logs
Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards




Coordinate with the laboratory and technical teams for testing requirements
Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Support preventive maintenance and servicing of GC instruments

Requirements
4–5 years of relevant experience as a GC Technician, Lab Engineer, Instrumentation Technician, or similar role
Solid hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) laboratory instruments
Knowledge of GC operation, calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
Experience in sample preparation and analytical testing
Valuable understanding of laboratory safety and quality procedures
Ability to maintain accurate technical documentation and reports
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
Candidates with experience in analytical/testing laboratories will be preferred
