Key Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, pack, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Operate and monitor sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ETO sterilizers.
Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to OT, wards, ICUs, and other departments.
Maintain sterilization records, logs, and documentation as per hospital policies.
Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards at all times.
Check instruments for functionality and report damaged items for repair or replacement.
Monitor stock levels of sterile supplies and coordinate with concerned departments.
Adhere to NABH and hospital protocols related to sterilization and infection prevention.
