Key Responsibilities
Dispensing Medications: Accurately preparing, packaging, and labeling prescriptions written by doctors or other health providers.
Patient Counseling: Explaining correct dosages, administration methods, potential side effects, and protected storage.
Safety Checks: Reviewing patient medical histories and current drug use to prevent harmful drug interactions and allergies.
Clinical Support: Partnering with physicians and nurses to monitor, evaluate, and optimize patient treatment plans.
Health Services: Administering vaccinations (such as flu shots) and performing basic wellness screenings like blood pressure checks.
Operations & Management: Overseeing pharmacy technicians, managing inventory,
and maintaining legal compliance with medical regulations.
Pharmacist Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
Proven experience as a pharmacist.
Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
