Job Description – Electrician

Position: Electrician
Department: Maintenance / Engineering
Location: Mohali
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
Handle electrical maintenance of office, stores, sites, and other company premises.
Perform regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
Maintain and repair lights, fans, AC points, power sockets, MCBs, DBs, and other electrical equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems and timely resolution of complaints.
Follow all electrical safety standards and company guidelines.
Maintain basic records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and required materials.
Coordinate with the maintenance team and report major electrical issues to the concerned manager.




Ensure secure handling and proper use of electrical tools and equipment.

Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant qualification.
2–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrician.
Good knowledge of electrical wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and handle emergency electrical issues.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
