Job Description – Laboratory Technician (Day Shift)

Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Shift: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities
Perform phlebotomy (blood sample collection) following standard safety and infection control protocols.
Conduct rapid diagnostic kit tests as per laboratory procedures.
Collect, label, process, and prepare patient samples for outsourced laboratory testing.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely dispatch of outsourced samples.
Prepare and type laboratory reports accurately.
Enter patient and test data into the laboratory information system.
Use internet and email for report sharing, communication with reference laboratories, and online data management.
Maintain laboratory records, registers, and inventory.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards.




Assist doctors and healthcare staff with laboratory-related activities as required.

Required Skills
Proficiency in phlebotomy.
Experience in performing rapid kit tests.
Knowledge of sample handling and preparation for outsourced testing.
Positive typing speed and computer proficiency.
Solid internet and email communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in report preparation.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or equivalent.
Previous laboratory experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of laboratory quality and safety practices.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
