We are seeking current members for our Family Representative Group. In this role you will share insights and ideas from the perspective of a support person to a young person experiencing difficulties. Your contribution to the group can be adjusted depending on you.
Role expectations:
Provide ideas on physical layout and facilities so they are youth/family friendly.
Provide ideas on service provision including advice on music, furnishings etc.
Aid in reviewing documents like family inclusion booklets that families are given on their introduction to our service so we reach the people who most need us.
Meet with Centre staff a few times a year to share ideas and hear about service updates.
Participate in interview panels for recent staff members.
Attend meetings (online or face to face).

This role is in a volunteer capacity but will contribute to many lives including our young people and their families. On occasion you will be gifted a token of appreciation as determined by the Centre Manager.
