Role Description
The Registrar / Senior Registrar role is a full time,



on-site position based at Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. The role involves providing day-to-day clinical support in inpatient and outpatient settings, including taking patient histories, conducting examinations, documenting findings, and assisting in diagnosis and treatment planning under the supervision of senior clinicians. Responsibilities include ordering and following up on investigations, monitoring patient progress, updating medical records, and participating in ward rounds and clinical case discussions. The Registrar / Senior Registrar is expected to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, support emergency and on-call duties as required, and contribute to patient education and counseling. The role may also involve participation in academic activities, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to support continuous enhancement of patient care standards.
