Role Description
This is a full time, in office role for a Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon based at LLM Hospital in Kottayam. The Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon will assist senior orthopaedic surgeons in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and operating theatre procedures, including preoperative assessment and postoperative management.



Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, participating in surgeries, and contributing to treatment plans under appropriate supervision. The role also involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate medical records, following hospital protocols and clinical guidelines, and participating in quality improvement and continuing medical education activities. The surgeon is expected to provide patient-centered care, support emergency orthopaedic services, and contribute to teaching and mentoring of junior clinical staff where applicable.

Qualifications
Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and completed orthopaedic residency or equivalent training, with valid medical registration and license to practice.
Foundational clinical skills in orthopaedic examination, diagnosis, and management of common musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
