The Guest Relation Executive t is responsible for providing a warm and qualified welcome to guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. They act as the first point of contact for customers and assist in maintaining productive restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations & Reception:
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and skilled demeanor.
Manage reservations through phone, email, and online booking systems.
Maintain an updated seating chart and coordinate table assignments.
Handle special guest requests, including dietary preferences and seating arrangements.
Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
Reservation & Seating Management:
Ensure proper documentation of reservations, cancellations, and walk-ins.
Coordinate with the restaurant team to maximize seating efficiency.
Communicate wait times and manage queue effectively.
Administrative & Operational Support:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
Assist in menu presentation and provide basic information about the restaurant’s offerings.
Support the F&B; team with administrative tasks such as billing and documentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communication & Coordination:
Liaise between guests and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Inform the kitchen and service teams of special guest requests or VIP arrivals.
Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional events and special occasions.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in reservation management systems.
Knowledge of F&B; operations and restaurant etiquette.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
