2-Month or 6-Month R&D; Intern
AI + Embedded Systems + Computer Vision + Flood Monitoring

We are looking for a highly motivated engineering student to join
ClimMaTech
(an IIT Mandi Startup by alumni & faculty) for a 2-month or 6-month hands-on R&D; internship. Let's work alongside your academics to build something real.

The project work:

Build an AI-enabled,



field-deployable flood monitoring system from the ground up.

This is an end-to-end engineering role involving:
Electronics & sensor integration
Raspberry Pi / ESP32 / STM32
Outdoor IR/night-vision cameras
Computer Vision & AI/ML (most key)
RTSP/PIV video processing
Person/intrusion & flood/water monitoring
MQTT / HTTP / JSON
4G/LTE & LAN communication
Power management
Cloud/API/dashboard integration

You will work directly with the ClimMaTech founding team and alongside the IIT Mandi research team/faculty, contributing to a real-world climate-tech system rather than a purely academic prototype.

What we're looking for

Students from: Electrical | CSE | Robotics | Instrumentation | Mechanical | Related Engineering

Prior experience with Python, C/C++, Raspberry Pi, ESP32/STM32, electronics, sensors, OpenCV, YOLO, Linux, MQTT, networking or AI/ML is helpful, but you don't
