Role Description
The Articled Clerk internship role at NISARG J SHAH & CO is an in office position based in Ahmedabad. The intern will assist in audit and assurance assignments, including vouching, checking financial records, and preparing working papers. Daily tasks will include supporting direct and indirect tax compliance, GST return preparation, and basic tax computations. The Articled Clerk will help with bookkeeping,



financial reporting, and documentation for regulatory filings, while maintaining organized records and adhering to skilled standards. The role also involves collaborating with team members, communicating with clients under supervision, and learning firm methodologies and applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications
Solid foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic auditing concepts.
Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, including GST, and interest in learning compliance procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
