Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for managing customer schedules, coordinating internally for production and dispatch, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. The role requires robust customer communication, follow-up skills, and coordination with PPC, Production, Quality, Stores and Logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and review customer schedules and understand daily, weekly and monthly requirements.
Coordinate with PPC and Production to plan supplies according to customer schedules.
Monitor order and production status and ensure the required quantities are available as per the delivery plan.
Track finished goods and inventory and identify potential shortages or delivery delays in advance.
Coordinate with Production, Quality,
Stores and Dispatch to ensure materials are ready for shipment.
Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery to customers as per their committed schedules.
Regularly communicate with customers regarding schedules, quantity changes, urgent requirements and delivery status.
Follow up on pending orders and shortages and escalate issues internally to avoid customer line stoppages.
Maintain daily and weekly customer reports covering schedules received, quantities supplied, balance quantities and pending deliveries.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, timely response and effective resolution of customer requirements.
Required Skills
