TWA (Telecom World Asia)

About the Role

As a Backend Development Intern, you will work closely with our
Backend Development and Networking teams
to build, maintain, and extend backend systems used for event-related applications and platforms.

The role involves working with APIs, databases, authentication, integrations, and existing Ninternet backend systems.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain
REST APIs and backend services
.
Work with
PostgreSQL
databases and SQL.
Design and manage database schemas.
Build and integrate internal and third-party APIs.
Work on authentication, authorization, and user management.




Extend and customize existing Ninternet backend functionality.
Develop backend components for
TWA event applications and portals
.
Debug and troubleshoot API, database, and integration issues.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured backend code.
Work with the team on testing and improving backend services.
Collaborate closely with the
Backend Development and Networking teams
.
Understand requirements, take ownership of assigned tasks, and contribute to real-world projects.

Requirements
Basic understanding of
backend development concepts
.
Understanding of
REST APIs and HTTP
.
Positive understanding of
SQL and relational databases
.
Familiarity with
PostgreSQL
.
Experience with at least one backend programming language such as
Python, Node.js, Java, or Go
.
Basic understanding of authentication and authorization.
Familiarity with
Git/GitHub
.
Valuable problem-solving and deb
