Role Description

n

This is a full time, in office role for a Communications Assistant located in Kolkata.

n

The Communications Assistant will be responsible for drafting and sending professional emails, regular follow-ups, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting strategic communication initiatives.

Daily responsibilities include:

n

Managing and maintaining professional communication channels.

n

Drafting press releases, articles, and internal communication materials.

n

Supporting social and editorial teams with communication needs.

n





Ensuring consistency and clarity in organizational messaging.

n

Collaborating with different departments to streamline internal and external correspondence.

n

Qualifications & Skills

n

Strong skills in professional emailing, writing, and communication.

n

Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail, Calendar, etc.).

n

Experience with Press Releases, Strategic Communications, and Internal Communications.

n

Excellent command of written and verbal English; attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.

n

Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks efficiently in an in office setup.

n

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field preferred.

n

MBA in marketing or sales is a plus.

n

Skills to adopt AI

n

1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is a plus.
